However, due to physical proportions, highly flexible pets or long-bodied breeds (like Dachshunds) may still be able to reach their lower paws or tail tip. We always recommend supervising your pet's first few hours of wear to ensure they cannot reach their specific wound site.
How firmly should I inflate the inner bladder?
Zip the cover closed first, then inflate until the collar feels plump and full, but not rock hard. Over-inflating can put unnecessary pressure on the seams. It should have just enough give to act as a soft, comfortable cushion for your pet.
How do I stop my dog from pulling the collar off?
This is where the inner ring loops are crucial! If you only use the hook-and-loop strap, a clever pet can use their paws to pull it over their head. By threading your pet’s daily collar through the built-in black fabric loops inside the ring, the CloudCollar remains anchored securely to their neck.
